Why Write for Saalinko

Saalinko is a SaaS-focused link building and SEO agency. Our blog is read by SaaS founders, growth teams, SEO managers, content marketers, and digital agency operators. By contributing to our blog, you get your content in front of a highly relevant B2B audience and earn a do-follow backlink from a niche-authority domain.

We are selective about what we publish. We do not accept generic articles, templated content, or submissions that have been sent to 50 other sites. Every article on the Saalinko blog goes through a proper editorial review — and we only publish work that genuinely adds value to our readers.

Who Should Contribute

We welcome contributions from SEO professionals, SaaS marketers, content strategists, digital agency owners, and B2B growth practitioners who have practical, real-world experience to share. If you have worked directly in the field and have something original to say — not just a rephrasing of existing guides — we are interested in hearing from you.

Topics We Accept

All submitted content must be relevant to one or more of the following areas:

  • SaaS SEO — technical SEO, on-page optimisation, keyword strategy, site architecture
  • Link building — outreach strategy, guest posting, niche edits, digital PR, backlink analysis
  • Content marketing — content strategy, editorial operations, B2B content, conversion-focused writing
  • Digital marketing — demand generation, organic growth, marketing operations for SaaS
  • Technology and SaaS — tools, platforms, product-led growth, SaaS business strategy

Submissions on unrelated topics will be rejected without review.

Guest Post Guidelines

Read these carefully before submitting. Articles that do not meet these standards will not be considered.

Content Requirements

  • Content must be 100% original and unpublished — not previously published on any other website, including your own blog
  • Minimum word count is 1,000 words. Longer, well-structured articles perform better and are more likely to be accepted
  • Content must be practical, useful, and well-structured. Opinion pieces and thought leadership are welcome if they are backed by experience or data
  • No sales or advertorial-style content. Articles that exist primarily to promote a product or service will be rejected
  • No keyword stuffing. Write naturally for human readers. SEO-optimised content is encouraged, but forced keyword repetition disqualifies a submission
  • Low-quality, spammy, or AI-generated content that has not been substantially rewritten and edited by a human author will not be published

Structure and Formatting

  • Only one H1 heading is allowed — the article title
  • Use H2 and H3 headings properly to create a logical, scannable structure
  • Keep paragraphs short and readable. Break up long sections with subheadings or bullet points where appropriate
  • Submit your article as a Google Doc with comment access enabled, not as an attachment

Links and Author Bio

  • Links within the article must be relevant and contextual — no spam links, affiliate links without disclosure, or links that serve no editorial purpose
  • No promotional links or links that exist solely to pass SEO value to an unrelated site
  • One author bio is allowed at the end of the article — maximum two to three lines — with one relevant link to your website or LinkedIn profile
  • Our editorial team may remove or adjust links that do not meet our standards

Editorial Process

  • We may request edits before publishing. Contributors are expected to respond to editorial feedback within five business days
  • We reserve the right to make minor formatting, grammar, and structural edits without prior approval
  • Accepted articles are typically published within two to three weeks of final approval

Link Insertion Guidelines

If you are enquiring about a contextual link placement within an existing Saalinko article rather than a full guest post contribution, the following standards apply:

  • Do-follow contextual link placement only — the link must sit naturally within relevant, editorial-style content
  • Natural anchor text only — no exact-match commercial anchors forced into unnatural sentences
  • Relevant niche websites only — the linking site must be topically related to SaaS, SEO, tech, or digital marketing
  • No PBNs, link farms, or websites built primarily for the purpose of selling links
  • Referring domain must have a Domain Rating of 20 or above and fewer than 5 spam score indicators
  • No AI-spun, auto-generated, or low-quality content on the source site

We review every link insertion request individually. Meeting the criteria above does not guarantee acceptance — editorial fit and relevance to our existing content are the deciding factors.

How to Submit

Step 1 — Send Your Pitch

Email support@saalinko.com with the subject line: Write for Saalinko — [Your Proposed Topic]. Include a brief description of your article idea, the specific angle you plan to take, and a short note about your relevant experience or background. We do not accept unsolicited full drafts — pitch first, write after we confirm interest.

Step 2 — Receive Confirmation

We aim to respond to pitches within five to seven business days. If your pitch is not a fit, we may not reply — we are a small editorial team. If we confirm interest, we will provide any specific guidance on angle, structure, or length.

Step 3 — Submit Your Draft

Submit as a Google Doc with comment access enabled. Include your author bio (two to three lines maximum) and the link you want in your bio. Our team will handle all formatting and publishing once the article passes editorial review.

Step 4 — Review and Publication

We will review your submission and either approve it, request revisions, or decline it with brief feedback. A maximum of two revision rounds applies. Once approved, your article will be published within two to three weeks and you will receive the live URL.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a fee to publish?

No. We do not charge contributors to publish and we do not pay for contributions. This is an editorial exchange — quality content for a do-follow link and exposure to a relevant SaaS and SEO audience.

Can I republish the article on my own site after publication?

Not without a canonical tag pointing back to the Saalinko version, and not within 30 days of publication here. We ask that you treat Saalinko as the primary publisher of the content.

Can I mention or link to my product within the article?

Yes, if it is genuinely relevant to the topic and not the primary purpose of the article. Articles structured around promoting a product rather than genuinely helping the reader will be rejected.

What happens if my submission does not meet your standards?

We will either return it with specific feedback and give you the opportunity to revise, or decline it entirely if the quality gap is too significant. We do not publish articles that do not meet our editorial standards, regardless of the topic.
